Meet Brenda
Brenda is a compassionate and approachable psychologist dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard, accepted, and empowered. Her therapeutic style blends professionalism with warmth, fostering trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection throughout the therapeutic process.

Brenda works with individuals across a broad range of mental health concerns, including trauma, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance misuse, and chronic pain. She also has a strong interest in helping clients seeking clarity around long-standing challenges through comprehensive psychological assessment.

Her approach is personalised, evidence-based, and holistic-focused on understanding each person’s unique story and tailoring interventions to support growth, healing, and wellbeing.

She integrates a range of therapeutic modalities to ensure a flexible and responsive process that meets clients where they are. Brenda’s inclusive perspective ensures that individuals from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds feel respected and understood.
Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with First Class Honours and a Master of Clinical Psychology (with Distinction). She is a Registered Psychologist currently completing the AHPRA Registrar Program toward Clinical Psychologist endorsement. Committed to lifelong learning, Brenda continually updates her skills to stay aligned with the latest research and best-practice approaches.

Therapy

Initial Session – $250
Your first appointment is an opportunity to get to know each other and decide together whether we’re the right fit. The session includes:

A 50-minute consultation with Brenda
-
A personalised treatment plan (developed after you complete a few online questionnaires)
Follow-Up Sessions – $215
-
Ongoing sessions focus on implementing strategies, exploring progress, and supporting your goals.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on each session. Health Funds, WorkCover and NDIS might also cover part or all of the cost of your sessions.
Pyschometric Assessments

Brenda provides comprehensive psychological assessments to help clarify diagnoses, guide treatment, and NDIS support funding or educational applications. Each assessment is tailored to the individual and includes clinical interviews, formal testing, a detailed report, and a feedback session to discuss results and recommendations.
Assessments are evidence-based, person-centred, and designed to answer specific referral questions such as learning difficulties, attention problems, autism traits, memory issues, or emotional regulation concerns.

What’s Included
Every assessment generally includes:

Initial consultation to understand concerns and goals ($265), including initial questionnaires.

Standardised psychological testing (age-appropriate tools)
-
Functional capacity assessment to evaluate real-life impact
-
Comprehensive written report with diagnostic impressions and recommendations
-
Feedback session to review results and plan next steps
Timeframes vary depending on the assessment type. The costs below include administration, scoring, interpretation, report writing and feedback session.
There are currently no Medicare rebates for Assessments.

Assessment Fees
Every assessment generally includes:

Cognitive Assessment ($2100): includes WAIS or WISC plus functional capacity assessment.

Autism ($3700): includes cognitive assessment, MIGDAS and functional capacity.
-
ADHD - Child ($3500): includes cognitive assessment, executive function, ADHD clinical interview and functional capacity. Parent/teacher questionnaires are included.
-
ADHD - Adult ($2100): includes Test of Everday Attention, clinical interview and functional capacity, which includes obtaining collateral information from friends/family.
-
Learning Difficulties, including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia ($3850): includes cognitive, Test of Academic achievement, and functional capacity. Can be administered for adults and children.

Memory ($3650): includes cognitive, test of premorbid functioning, memory assessment and functional capacity with collateral information.
-
Cosmetic readiness assessment ($500): includes clinical interview, questionnaires and short report.
-
Executive Functioning Adults ($3500): includes cognitive assessment, DKEFS, and functional capacity with collateral information.
-
Mood/Anxiety/PTSD/OCD ($1500): Clinical interview [Quick-SCID] and functional capacity assessment.
-
Combined Autism and ADHD ($4200): includes cognitive, autism and ADHD assessment along with functional capacity assessment.

Combined Autism, ADHD and Learning ($5000): includes cognitve, autism, ADHD, learning and functional capacity assessment.
